About Me

This blog was started for a few reasons, including actually getting off my duff and start writing stuff down since I have failed at keeping my lj account active and a few lines of text isn't a lot of space to share stuff.  My DH gave me a lovely DSLR for Christmas and I thought this would give me a reason to crack out the camera.  Not that my kids aren't a reason to crack out the camera, but this way I have more then one reason to practice using the camera so I can improve my skills with a camera since at this point I am still getting used to using the camera.   Finally my last reason for blogging is trying to help me track what I eat and do through out the day.  I am still trying to lose the baby weight from Rosie who is currently almost 2 1/2 years old.  At some point it stop being baby weight and start being just being overweight.  I had lost weight before but gained it all back with each pregnancy.  So I am currently 25+ pound above were I would like to be.

The kids names are changed so my blog doesn't interfere with anything they do in the future.  Rosie is the name that Ladybug really wanted to call her instead of her real name and Ladybug is currently her favorite insect and also describes her well.  She is lovely to look at but if you get too close she will often fly away.

This picture is a good representation of the family.  Ladybug is looking bored and a bit less then happy, Rosie is all smiles and climbing all over me.  I am trying to keep things going, although I don't always succeed and J is taking it all in stride.

But mostly, I am a stay at home Mum who is trying to figure things out and keep my sanity along the way.  Plus, enjoy some good food.  I love my kids and my family, and that is all that really matters.

Addendum Dec 2012:
We have added a new member to our family in October, Little Man is now 8 weeks old and starting to smile.  While Rosie is getting closer to 4 everyday, she is still full of life and smiles but the mischief is not far behind.  Ladybug is an energetic 1st grader and still has her love of crafts and art projects.
