Saturday, June 18th - The Party Day

Again I woke up in time to get breakfast. Although I had been up a bunch before this, it is hard to tell the time when you wake up in the middle of the night and it seems like morning and then you wake up in the morning and it looks the same as 4am.

Carson and I meet at breakfast and then went back to bed :) We went out around noon and grabbed the Hop on Hop off bus that we had tried to take yesterday but they were closed on the National Holiday. We took a tour of Reykjavik and then stopped at Perlan to look at the man-made geyser and take the audio tour through the Viking museum. We had a snack up stairs in the cafe before the museum.
Baby Audrey in the Lupine flowers outside Perlan, how cute is she :)

We had just missed the bus back around but luckily there was one more since they stopped at 5pm. We caught the last bus and decided it was time for theBest Hotdogs in the World so said by Bill Clinton. Great dogs.

I have discovered the hardest part of being the photographer is that I never get in any of the shots, so Carson gladly stepped in so I could get in one of the photos.

We then went off for some more Nonnabiti before the reception. The receptions was held right by perlan, we should have just brought our clothes with us - oh well, it happens like this some times.

Rocking party, they had stations set up representing the different countries with a task to do at each. The MC's were great and funny and the music was great. The pub crawl after the party wasn't to start until 1am but the party kept going until well past 2.

Here is Carson having a great time dancing.
The happy bride and groom.
Carson, Audrey, Tom and Neil around 1am
That is a awesome picture of J and I at 1:30am

Then a taxi downtown for more Nonnabiti since J hadn't really had any dinner. Then off to bed at 3am, surprise, surprise, surprise :)
